Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has joined family members, friends and well-wishers at the Palace of the Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, for the turbaning of Abdullahi Abubakar, popularly known as Young Minister, as the new Sarkin Matasan Adamawa.
Governor Fintiri described the traditional elevation as a well-deserved recognition of Abdullahi Abubakar’s dedication and leadership among young people across the state.
The Governor congratulated the new Sarkin Matasan Adamawa on his prestigious appointment and urged him to use his new position to promote unity, peace, progress and youth empowerment across the Adamawa Emirate and the state.
Fintiri expressed confidence that the new youth leader would bring his experience and influence to bear in advancing the interests and aspirations of young people while contributing meaningfully to the development of Adamawa State.
